Gasoline prices adjusted lower

Oil companies announced a downward adjustment in the pump prices of gasoline, and an increase for both diesel and kerosene to take place this week, according to a report by GMA News.

In separate advisories, Flying V, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said they will roll back prices per liter gasoline by P0.25, while hiking both diesel by P0.25, and kerosene by P0.20.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will implement the same adjustments, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The changes will take effect 6 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 for all the firms except for Cleanfuel which will adjust prices 4:01 p.m. the same day. Other companies have yet to make similar announcements.

According to the latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE), year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P4.42 per liter for gasoline, P10.26 per liter for diesel, and P13.64 per liter for kerosene as of October 13, 2020.
