Metro Manila residents are encouraged to avail of free medical consultation through a 24/7 hotline, according to the Department of Health (DOH).

They may contact 02-8424-1724 for COVID-19 medical advice and health concerns unrelated to the virus, the agency said in a statement.

The free telemedicine service is provided by the DOH in partnership with Telimed Management Inc and Medgate.

The DOH earlier launched COVID-19 hotlines 02-894-COVID (26843) and 1555 for virus-related queries.

As of Monday, the Philippines has recorded 3,660 cases of COVID-19, including 163 deaths and 73 recoveries.
