Laguna readies tourism campaign
The provincial government met with tourism stakeholders to prepare for the launch of Love Laguna – a campaign aimed at boosting local tourism, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
The meeting was led by Gov. Ramil Hernandez and was attended by tourism officers of various cities and towns as well as representatives from private tourism entities.
According to the Laguna Provincial Information Office (PIO), the campaign launch was originally slated for 2021 but was postponed due to community restrictions brought by high cases of Covid-19.
As part of the campaign, the Laguna Tourism Culture Arts and Trade Office (LTCATO) is set to launch a website and an app where tourists can browse Laguna attractions, activities, and local products.
