Antipolo opens sites Covid-19 booster shots
The Antipolo City government has rolled out the fourth jab or second booster to senior citizens, immunocompromised, and medical health workers, residents or non-city residents, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
The office of Antipolo City Mayor Andrea-Bautista Ynares said specific vaccination sites have been accepting both residents and non-residents who are either immuno-compromised, senior citizens or medical healthworkers, for those availing of the second booster shot.
According to the guidelines set by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), eligible to receive the fourth COVID-19 jab are people with certain medical conditions, provided they have the medical clearance; senior citizens, and medical frontliners.
Residents who fall under these categories should bring a valid ID, their vaccination card, and city government issued QR Code which was generated through the Antipolo Bantay COVID-19 Vaccination Registration (https://antipolobantaycovid.appcase.net/) if they have been vaccinated in the city previously.
Those who are non-residents of the city may also be vaccinated provided they bring their vaccination card and valid ID but they should first register through the Antipolo Bantay COVID-19 Vaccination Registration.

Immuno-compromised individuals who want to get the second booster dose should have received their first dose at least three months prior while the elderly and the medical health workers should have gotten their first booster shot at least four months.
Aside from the booster shots, the city government is also accepting adults and youngsters, residents or not, who may want to get either their first or second dose. The schedule and specific vaccines that are available in specific vaccination sites in Antipolo City are also indicated in the post that can be viewed in the city government’s Facebook page.
The city government’s giving of the second booster dose for the eligible individuals also coincided with the national government’s vaccination roll-out held in Mandaluyong City on Thursday morning, May 26, with incoming Antipolo City Mayor, Dr. Casimiro ‘Junjun’ Ynares, III, assisting in the vaccination ceremony.
