The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office on Friday announced that there would be no lotto draws and other numbers games from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday.
The PCSO said the regular selling of tickets and holding of draws would only be done from Monday, April 15, to Wednesday, April 17.
Regular operations will resume on April 22.
Meanwhile, the Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot is expected to soar to P98 million by the next draw on Sunday as there was no winner in the last draw on Thursday night.
The previous draw, which had a jackpot prize of P93,198,466, yielded a combination of 14-16-28-17-23-37.
Although no one hit the jackpot, 16 bettors almost got it, correctly guessing five of the six digit winning combination. Each of them received a consolation prize of P54,080.
The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
