The Caloocan Katipuneras lifted the title trophy after winning the 2019 Metro League Under-17 Girls Volleyball tournament.

The Lady Katipuneras were hailed as champion after defeating the Quezon City Lady Capitals in straight sets at the San Juan Gymnasium on May 24.

Mayor Oscar Malapitan extended his warmest congratulations to the team, especially to coach Jesper Perez, team manager Alvin Abelardo, and Caloocan Sports and Recreation Services head Maria Dainty Abelardo.

"Thank you for bringing pride to our city. Your perseverance and determination has led you to success," Malapitan said.
