Caloocan opens new quarantine facility

Isang bago at kumpletong quarantine facility ang pinasinayaan ngayong umaga ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Caloocan sa pangunguna ni Mayor Oca Malapitan at mga kinatawan mula sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Ayon sa Punong-Lungsod, ang bagong pasilidad na matatagpuan sa likod ng Caloocan City North Medical Center (CCNMC) ay nakalaan lamang para sa mga pasyenteng kinakikitaan ng banayad na sintomas. Ito ay may 32-bed capacity, malinis na mga palikuran, at kumpleto at kumportableng higaan at mga gamit para sa mga pasyente.

Bukod dito, mayroon ding naka-standby na medical personnel upang regular ang monitoring sa lagay ng mga pasyente. Libre rin ang pagkain at vitamins upang mapalakas ang immune system ng mga pasyenteng dadalhin dito. 

Taos-puso naman nagpapasalamat si Mayor Oca sa DPWH na nanguna sa proyektong ito. 

"Tayo po ay nagpapasalamat sa DPWH, kay Sec. Villar, para sa pagpili sa ating lungsod upang matayuan nang napapanahong proyektong ito," ani Mayor Oca. 
"Sa pamamagitan ng bagong pasilidad na ito, mas mailalaan natin ang mga ospital sa mga may matinding sintomas at kritikal na mga pasyente," dagdag ng Punong-Lungsod.

Ang 32 bed capacity ng bagong quarantine facility ay magiging karagdagan sa 1,222 kasalukuyang bed capacity ng lahat ng quarantine facilities sa buong lungsod.
