Caloocan's Barangay 28 placed under lockdown
Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan placed Barangay 28 in Dagat-Dagatan district under total lockdown from May 26 to May 31 as a response to the rising cases of COVID-19 in the area.

The total lockdown will begin at 12 midnight on Tuesday, May 26, and will end at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, Malapitan confirmed to GMA News Online on Monday.

This is the third barangay lockdown ordered by Malapitan since the start of the enhanced community quarantine.
On May 13, Barangay 156 was placed under total lockdown also due to the reported high number of COVID-19 cases in the area. The total lockdown lasted til May 15.
On Sunday, Malapitan also extended the lockdown imposed on Barangay 12 until May 30 after an increase in positive COVID-19 cases.
